It was a very hard choice deciding which of the thousands of beautiful cats which boarded with us in 2006 should receive this award. So many sweet natured cats, so many good looking cats, but in the end we chose Joe Mallinson.
In the summer of 2006 whilst in our care Joe became very ill with a bladder blockage. Thanks to the dillegence of my staff he was rushed to the Vet where he remained for nearly 2 weeks unable to wee without a catheter in.
During this time his lovely nature enabled the vets to work with him, although at one point we all though he wouldnt make it, but make it he did and recovered fully thanks to Armac Vet Group, Edinburgh
We were all so worried about him and feel we are almost part owners of this delightful boy. He has been back with us many times since and has now embarked on a new diet regime which should prevent this happening to him again.
He went through so much without a grumble and we feel he deserves this award.
Joe receives a free summer break with us in 2007, and we cant wait to have him back.
