Dalkeith cats Hotel is a small family run cattery located in Dalkeith, near Edinburgh. Established for 15 years and run by Mrs Evelyn Smail, who has over 25 years experience in caring for pets. We are Fully Licensed and Midlothian District Council Inspected. We are recommended by many Vets.

We offer boarding facilities from short to extended long stay, with facilities for cats that go out and cats that don't.
As lovers of all cats, we run the Cattery not only as a business but as pleasure and give love and affection to all the cats who come to stay with us. We never met a cat we didn't like. Ultra clean and modern facility.

We understand it is hard parting with a beloved pet even for just a few days and encourage new clients to come and meet us to discuss your cats requirements. We hope this site will give you an idea of what we offer, in advance of meeting you.

We offer, excellent cat housing, good food and plenty of it, and love and attention by real cat loving owner and staff..!!

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PERSIAN CATS( flat faced type) due eye and breathing problems that we have experienced in many. We still accept long haired moggies.

Please note!
All cats must be fully vaccinated and the Vets card must accompany cats on each boarding occasion.

As this is also our family home we restrict our opening times to the following

9am-1pm Mon -Sat
5pm-6pm Mon- Sat

We are closed on Sundays. Restricted hours mean we can have time for Vets appoinments and aids us in running a high efficient cattery, and allows us some well deserved time to ourselves.

Viewing by appointment only for the security of our boarders.

Exceptions may be made in certain circumstances or emergencies, but alternative arrangements MUST be made at the time of booking. With the exception of emergencies.
